the music is really good here, also the 8 bit style is just like old horror games, the way the mother looks so calm is really scary also and the purple on the moms hair and the purple on this site really stands out, great job!
This game got me GOOD! it has all the quality's a game like this should have. *2D Graphics* *Good Storyboard/Design* And Jump-scares with good rockin' 8-bit music. I loved it and I hope you make more games like this, I will personally play them! I loved this game, here is a video I did about it and it is basically most of the video. but IDK if i should make a part two because the end got cut off because my recorder stopped recording, and then i would have to fake the reaction so that wouldn't be any good. but anyway yeah here is the video.

I'm currently terrified The music is top notch and I gurantee that there are moments which will make your heart stop. For real. I just loved the ending tbh....where (spoilers, don't read it if you haven't played the game yet) you gt choices...whether to forgive or not forgive mother.....seriously this is such an amazing game ....T-T leave me here to cry

I mentioned how it was similar to the style of Mad Father, and I used to watch people play that game, and similar ones, all the time. It was very fun to experience a similar style game for myself. The mothers design is phenomenal as well, and the story is one that, while easily predictable and understandable, is still unnerving nonetheless. I think the one thing that upset me about this game was how short it was. I would've enjoyed seeing more from it, but the story that was told feels like it would've continued to limit the ability to extend the game, and it wouldn't be as fun if it were super drawn out.
Overall, this was one of my favorite indies that I have played, and I will definitely be looking at future games from the developers!

ok so the hole right now before you properly enter the long corridor to the final battle, the mouse hole allows the user to see mother in the bed and the final battle arena, i suggest those who want to explore it to do it, i am avoiding spoilers for those who do it
as for game play, i would like the sprinting option to be back but moves x2 as fast when going through the rat hole and general movement to avoid mother in the first chase sequence, the thrill to run around the room only to see that it is inevitable, to then hide under the sheets was fun, or even behind the music box again, finding that out was both stupid and fun, because logically you can see someone under the sheets even if there isn't much light in the room, so the kid could be behind the box and look like nothing at all. there is opportunity for more gameplay or a resume game. a game that shows everything you have done or can do, that will be cool to see in the future. but it is just me, a simple mind learning coding because it is fun to solve problems.
I'm really confused, for the night where she takes the 3rd child you can't sleep and you have to get out of bed, the other side is blocked so I go the other way but the vase breaks either and mother finds you but nothing happens?
